The Indian woman and the social evils associated
In this blog , i would like to address the social evils that persists in modern Indian society in women's case . Starting right from the birth , a term "son meta preference" exits which itself shows son is preferred more as compared to daughter in this senseless society . Family continues to reproduce until a son is born showing how daughter is not wanted and welcomed in this society . Technology has made it more easier as you can detect early in the womb if it is a female child or male child so can it can be infanticide if it's a female child. Although laws exits as this is a criminal offences but things continue on the other side of veil showing a society which prefers a male child over a female child . When a female child is born , she is gradually made a women ( it's a social construct) , she is often provided with soft toys and given nailpolish , makeup materials, which enhances her beauty , outside visits will be done in controlled manner ( Article 19 viol...
